In this place, you can rest, step away from the daily hustle and bustle, and reconnect with your natural self\u2014where the mind slows down and you focus only on the movements of your body. There is nothing else but the shepherds\u2019 stroll, the hospitality of the locals, the scent of fresh bread, and the crackling of branches broken for the samovar as fresh Azerbaijani tea is brewed. The murmur of the rushing stream as it scatters sparks of water over the rocks; the sun\u2019s rays refract in the droplets, bathing the surrounding leaves in light. The fog also plays an important role, for just as it renders the valley invisible after sunset, it awakens the night\u2019s inhabitants\u2014jackals and wolves.<\/p>\n
The body quickly adapts to nature; the eye is drawn to the sight of haystacks and meadows, no longer grumbling; it lies down in the fresh grass, no longer scraping the mud off the soles of its shoes. It passes the bread around; everyone can break off a piece for themselves; it lets the wind ruffle its hair, and its ears open to the forest\u2019s soft murmur. It takes on meaning when the air stands still, when birds suddenly take flight\u2014you can hear into the mountain\u2019s belly if you ask a question.<\/p>\n
